PAPI 3 is now available on Cobalt (SGI Altix).   This is the CVS version
of PAPI 3 beta which is being frequently updated so it's definitely
a pre-release and will be changing as PAPI 3 moves toward a final
release.  In the meantime, there'll likely be minor problems that
should be resolved as ICL development continues, but hopefully the
library will still be of use during Cobalt pre-production.

Location: /usr/apps/tools/papi3

There's a SoftEnv key to set up your environment: +papi3

Current plans are to not make PAPI version 2 available on this system.
