PAPI 3 beta 2 has been installed on Tungsten in /usr/apps/tools/papi3

The directory structure has changed slightly to conform more to
GNU standards.  If you used the test cases that formerly were
in the top-level ctests and ftests directories, you'll find them
in the src directory now (also under ctests and ftests).

I'm planning on waiting till a final release to update on the
non-P4 NCSA systems but for Tungsten, since PAPI 3 is the only version
supported for Pentium 4 and it's still in friendly user mode, it
seems best try to keep it more up-to-date.
