A web site devoted to the perfmon performance monitoring subsystem
of IA-64/Linux has recently come online:

http://www.hpl.hp.com/research/linux/perfmon/

This information is not currently applicable to NCSA's Titan
cluster because of the kernel version, but should be in the
future.
