PAPI 3.0.7 is now available on Mercury.  There has been a new TG_COMMUNITY
directory created on NCSA's TG system for performance tools, so this
is the first time PAPI has a "home" on that system.  There will be SoftEnv
keys created soon (after some additional software has been installed on 
the system).

Location: /usr/projects/perftools/papi3

PAPI 2 will also be installed for users who may have not yet migrated
to PAPI 3, however it is no longer officially supported.  All users
should move to PAPI 3 as soon as possible as it is much improved over
earlier major versions of the library.
