Hi all,
the server is still not showing anything.
Is somebody willing to setup a new (central) server?
On AG-TECH list was suggested that beacon.dast.nlanr.net would be probably
definitly shut down as a natural consequence of the project reaching the
end-of-life.
There's been some discussion on the I2 multicast working group list on a
dbeacon group, and the GR-NOC has one in progress (for v4 and v6 IIRC), but I
don't know when they expect to have it up, for a state-side dbeacon group.
I'll ask there, and if I get an answer, repost it here.
The network engineering folks at NCSA have also talked about taking over
running the server that's beacon.dast.nlanr.net but I don't know whether that
is going forward or not. I don't know if they are on this list or not, so
I'll ask them as well.
