Beacon v1.0-0 on FreeBSD

Greetings,

I am currently trying to set up Beacon v1.0-0 to run on a few FreeBSD
machines here, but am having problems when attempting to join to an IPv6
multicast group. IPv4 works fine.

The code runs fine on other Linux and Solaris machines, but when I try
to run it on FreeBSD I get the following error:

Getting configuration information from file
"/home/tester/Beacon-1.0/etc/beacon.conf".
Opening session on default interface.
Unable in initialize RTP session for this Beacon at ./beacon line 3327.

I have tried both with having it use the default interface, and
specifying the local IPv6 interface I want it to use. The group I am
using is an embedded-rp (FF70/16) group, but using a standard FF3::/12
group gives me the same problems.

Has anyone else seen this or know why this might be happening?

Thanks in advance,
Ras
