before I reinvent the wheel, we're doing major multicast 
troubleshooting with our router vendor (yes, again...) and I need 
something to tell me when our beacons go invisible to off-campus. 
has anyone already written something to parse the history files, find 
"their" beacon, and see if most people can't see it?

also, any news on a new version of the server that works on solaris?
