graphing the archived data
I've been playing with some scripts to generate time plots of the
loss, RTT and jitter from the history files, so as to be able to track
connectivity in time. Currently I'm keeping 60-second data for 10 hours
and 30-minute data indefinitely (until I figure out how much is too much
and how to truncate it).

from the wrong role and it was discarded)
BTW, the new beacon page seems to refer to "600-second history" and I
think it's still 60-second history ...
My weird PIM problems appear to be related to a checksum problem in Nortel
software (as I suspected) plus some more weirdness in Jumiper OS, and
hopefully will go away next week with a software upgrade. Not sure why we
aren't reaching UVic, though ...
