Graphing data against time
I have been experimenting with plotting archived packet loss, RTT and
jitter with the idea to e.g. see when things stopped working.
To do this I have been downloading the central server history and
use "gnuplot" to plot a slice of the data file. I web-enabled it in a
fairly simplistic fashion by generating PNG output. To more conveniently
choose (S,R) pairs I added links to my local_loss page below.
It works moderately well, though I have been stopping and starting my
beacons yesterday so my data is a bit choppy. I am now discarding
60-second data after 10 hours or so but keeping 30-minute data
indefinitely, for now.
Autoscaling, line type and axes are gnuplot standard; I added an override
for Y scaling as sometimes there are big spikes in RTT or jitter.
