RE: Suppressing (or summarising) beacon miss-match messages
Hi
I've just commented out the print statement that prints out that line. I
suppose really the best solution would be to have either an html page or
info appended to the bottom on the beacon info page saying that these
beacons are out there - but that they are running the wrong version.
The *best* option is to stop changing the format of the reports - so
that every version from now on can accept reports from previous versions
- or write some translation code into new versions if really necessary.
I don't mind upgrading the beacon server occasionally - but asking
everyone who is running a 'client' to upgrade is a bit of a stretch.
Cheers
Steve
