Hi -- Beacon 1.3 has been released.  You can get it at:

	http://dast.nlanr.net/projects/beacon/

In addition, the 1.1 Beacon will be retired on September 7th in conjunction
with a physical move of the server to a new building. Please update to the
new 1.3 Beacon by that time. 


The 1.3 Beacon Central Server is running right now at

	http://beacon2.ncsa.uiuc.edu

After the 1.1 server is taken down on 9/7/05, the beacon.ncsa.uiuc.edu and
beacon.dast.nlanr.net aliases will be changed to point to the 1.3 server as
well.

As always, please let us know if you encounter any problems or have any
feedback for us.
