Originating from the National Center for Supercomputing Applications, RiverWeb(TM) is a program concept for building a sustainable multidimensional, interdisciplinary, digital information architecture for the Mississippi basin.

The overiding goal of RiverWeb(TM) is to construct a a sustainable, Web-centered framework that enables broad audiences to access, apply and share knowledge, tools and data required for integrated river management, wetland conservation and land use.

In realizing this goal, we seek to empower state and local governments, businesses, educators and the citizenry-at-large to make informed choices about environmental issues of vital importance to their communities.

This Web site is designed to aid in the development of the RiverWeb(TM) program concept and its related projects. As such, this space is dedicated to sharing progress, important documents, and resources between the RiverWeb(TM) collaborators and partners. Therefore there are several areas of this Web space that are password-protected. If you wish to find out more about the RiverWeb(TM) Program, please contact us at NCSA.

Thank you.
