Jeremiah Ostriker on-camera: text
Well what is moving the whole earth, the solar system, our galaxy
in that direction? It must be gravity due to the other galaxies.
So we looked in vain for what that is. And worse yet, we find
that the other galaxies near us have a small velocity with respect
to us. Therefore they're moving the same way with respect to the
background radiation. And in fact as far out as we can look up,
we find galaxies all around us moving the same way as we are.
