M82 Starburst Galaxy: average CO intensity. Caption, Credit and Copyright
This image was derived from an image cube of the CO emission from the region of intense star formation in the nucleus of the starburst galaxy, M82. This average intensity image was formed by averaging together all the planes in the image cube.
