Giant molecular clouds are places where stars such as our sun are formed.
We know that these clouds are very active, we know that they have a birth
point, they have a youth, they have an adolescence, they have an old age
and they have a death. And during that cycle of activity in a giant molecular
cloud one of the by-products would be stars, the birth of stars.
