Core Region of a Giant Molecular Cloud: Caption, Credit & Copyright

Hubble Space Telescope image of 30 Doradus nebula surrounding the dense star cluster R136. The image is chevron-shaped because it is a mosaic of the three wide field cameras and the planetary camera. 30 Doradus is a giant cloud of gas and dust located in a small neighboring galaxy called the Large Magellanic Cloud about 160,000 light-years away from us.
