The End is Near

Week 7 was a rush to build in all of the features and gadgets that make use of the computation code.

Progress For the Week

1. Canned functions have been built in.
2. George found a way to animate the convolution function.
3. The slide presentation is complete and has been presented to the group.
4. George and I have put the transform graphs in to orthogonal mode.
5. Stewart helped fix the star code that George and I broke.
6. Stewart also created code so that the speed of the application is no longer dependent on the speed of the machine.
7. Lots of keyboard features have been added to turn options on/off, switch functions f and g, and navigate the graphs.

Monday and Tuesday of week 8 will be used to document the program. On Wednesday, Yanna and I are leaving for MathFest. The REU is coming to an end.

Proposed Work for Weeks 8

1. Document the code from the last 7 weeks.
2. Prepare the itenerary for the MathFest trip.
3. Have the presentation printed out on transparencies.
