Where To Go From Here

Week 5 was used more for debugging and project management than for adding features to the code.

Progress For the Week
  1. The convolution code is working correctly but there are still problems with proving the Theorem. A lot of debugging went on this week.
  2. Analyst has been moved in to Woodruff's C++ skel so that we can now view the data arrays from the computations.
  3. I spent part of Friday creating this website so that the projects progress could be tracked by others.
  4. Met with Karen concerning the current code status and the sampling paper
  5. I also spent time laying out documentation concerning the projects current state and future needs. We must decide whether to implement the graphics portion of the project in OpenGL or Java.
Graphics are the main concern of week 6. There are a lot of features that need to be created in whatever graphics program we chose. Work should start on those features immediately.

Proposed Work for Weeks 6
  1. Finalize the computation code and work out the Theorem bug
  2. Meet with George and Karen to discuss how the project will be implemented graphically
  3. Start running with the graphics portion as soon as the graphics platform is chosen.
  4. Continue meeting with Karen concerning the paper
